  • Screenshot with three tasks
The homescreen of FlowgencyTM. The coloured gradient below the task title indicates the current drift between time use and progress. Keep it as blue as possible by checking done steps or, at your choice, by adjusting the due-date.
  • list of ranking criteria
If you click the question mark link right below the color gradient, you get on a page that breaks the urgency score down into the components. You see there are five ranking criteria. You can weight them to your liking in the configuration.
  • list of ranking criteria
Open or close a task by clicking its title. If a task is open, its description and those of its steps that are currently in focus. The time elapsed since opening a task is a ranking criterion. Clicking "Edit" ...
  • a task in edit mode
The body of the task is replaced by a form in accordion style for you to edit properties. Here, you see the due-date configuration, i.e. the setting of the so-called time way that can consist of stages in different tracks. Changed data is saved on refresh.
  • The substeps field
Eh, did you see the "test" step in the list of the pending steps? No, you did not. This is alright since you have completed the step. Only those steps to do next and their superordinates are displayed.
  • The description field supports markdown
In the descriptions you can you markdown syntax, provided a certain perl module is installed.
  • a task in edit mode
In the form, step progress can be adjusted by a slider, while in the open state of a task, there are checkboxes. Honestly I am still not sure what to use.
  • The configuration menu
You can configure FlowgencyTM in various aspects. "Server administration" is only offered if your user id is assigned the admin role in backend configuration. But let us see know how to set up your custom time model ...
  • A well configured time-model is essential. This subsystem is very flexible to allow for the diversity of human work. A single user, however, should keep it as simple as possible. A time model that you cannot overview blindly will become a stress factor.
